What do I need to get started using BrikBiz?

How do I begin?

Start by downloading the app onto your iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod touch) from the App Store: BrikBiz on iOS App Store. Launch the app, then enter your Username and Password. You’re set.

Why do you need my BrickLink Username and Password?

Your Username and Password is used to exchange for the following values from the BrickLink API server: Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Token Value and Token Secret. These four values are the minimum required in order to access your store data via the API. Your Username and Password is used for this purpose only and is never transferred to a third-party server. Once a valid Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Token Value and Token Secret combination is obtained, the Password value will be discarded. The Username value will be stored in the device’s keychain, where it is used when you share a link to your Inventory item as well as for us to provide support to your enquiries.

How secure is my information?

BrikBiz stores your Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Token Value and Token Secret combination within your iOS device’s Keychain. The combination is used when communicating with BrickLink’s API server. It is not transferred to any third-party server. Aside to this, BrikBiz uses industry-standard HTTPS when communicating with BrickLink’s API servers.
